Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or MRI cross-training) and BLS, with IV competency within 30 days.

You will perform MRI exams, ensure safety, and maintain high-quality imaging under physician direction. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance where applicable, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification or cross-trained in MRI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARRT MR or modality competency per protocol.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and identifies patient details.
• Performs MRI exams with accuracy and quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time targets without compromising care.
• Instructs students and staff in MRI protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Records patient information and exam results accurately.
• Follows coding, consent, QC, and equipment failure reporting procedures.
