Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. The role supports 7 on, 7 off graveyard shifts from 8pm to 6am, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance possible. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.

The ideal candidate maintains ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials, has BLS, and can achieve IV competency within 30 days. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT cross-training required for MRI work.
• Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI exams and ensures high-quality imaging.
• Verifies patient identification and prepares patients for exams.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits without compromising care or quality.
• Instructs students and other MRI staff on protocols and positioning.
• Documents patient information and procedures accurately.
• Follows coding, charging, consents, and QC protocols.
• Maintains equipment and related information systems for image quality.
