Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (8pm–6am). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure accurate imaging, and collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements include ARRT MR or ARMRIT (or cross-training), BLS, and IV competency within 30 days. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or cross-trained in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARMRIT/MR competency
• Prepares patient and verifies order details
• Performs MRI exams per protocol with quality images
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits while ensuring patient care
• Assists and instructs students and other MRI staff
• Provides patient education and comfort during procedures
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques
• Keeps accurate records and documents equipment issues
