Job summary

Akumin in St. Pete, FL is hiring a Full Time MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care across sites. This role requires ARRT MR certification (or ARMRIT as allowed), CPR, and a valid state license where applicable, plus strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required by contract.
• State license if applicable and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on location.
• Training or enrollment in MRI programs acceptable for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient safety and assist with pre-screening as needed.
• Operate MR equipment and coordinate with radiologists.
• Train new technologists and staff as needed.
• Travel to multiple locations may be required.
