Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Group 5 Air Vehicles Structural Engineer to disposition MRB non-conformances and support structural substantiation for metallic and composite primary and secondary structures. You will perform hand calculations and FEA analyses, write robust disposition packages, and help scale MRB processes for higher production rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in aerospace structural analysis with MRB/disposition experience.
• Strong understanding of static strength, fatigue, damage tolerance, load path analysis.
• Proficiency with FEA tools (NASTRAN) and hand calculations.
• Experience substantiating repairs for metallic and composite structures.
• Excellent written communication under schedule pressure.
• Self-driven with autonomy in fast-paced environments.
• Eligible for active U.S. Secret security clearance; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Dispositon MRB non-conformances for Group 5 aerial structures.
• Perform static strength, fatigue, damage tolerance, buckling analyses.
• Write disposition packages ensuring airworthiness and certification.
• Improve MRB methods, tools, and standard dispositions.
• Track non-conformance trends; drive RCCA with QA, Mfg, and M&P.
• Coordinate with QA, Manufacturing, Design and M&P to resolve issues.
• Conduct trade studies on repair vs. rework vs. scrap decisions.
• Provide on-the-floor engineering support during builds; travel as needed.
