Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years in aerospace structural analysis, design, or liaison engineering with MRB or non-conformance experience
• 2+ years leading or managing engineers in a senior role
• Strong understanding of static strength, fatigue, damage tolerance, and repair design for metallic/composite structures
• Ability to set technical standards and review work across analysis and design disciplines
• Excellent cross-functional communication with QA, manufacturing, program management, and leadership
• Self-driven with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Travel up to 25% to vendors, production, and test sites

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of MRB analysis and sustainment design engineers
• Own MRB system health from intake through repair release and production closure
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and establish MRB signature delegation
• Set technical standards and review high-risk dispositions and repair designs
• Partner with QA, Manufacturing, Design, M&P, and Program Management to prioritize work
• Drive RCCA programs to reduce non-conformances, rework, and scrap
• Build and improve MRB processes, tools and standard work as production scales
• Report on throughput, non-conformance trends, and risk to leadership
• Balance workload and ensure smooth hand-offs between disposition and release
