Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a seasoned MRB Lead Engineer to oversee the Air Dominance and Strike Aerostructures team. You will direct dispositioning of non-conformances and release repair solutions for Group 5 air vehicles, guiding a team of engineers to ensure schedule, quality, and airworthiness.

You will drive RCCA programs, set technical standards, and collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Design, M&P, and PM to maintain production momentum. A Secret clearance is required, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace structural analysis, design, or liaison engineering with MRB or non-conformance disposition experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineers or in senior technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of structural substantiation and repair design for metallic/composite structures.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with QA, Manufacturing, PM, and leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to vendors, production, and test sites.
• Eligible for active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of MRB analysis and sustainment design engineers.
• Own end-to-end health of the MRB system from intake to production closure.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and establish MRB signature authority.
• Set technical standards and review complex dispositions and repair designs.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Design, M&P, and Program Management.
• Drive RCCA programs to reduce non-conformances, rework, and scrap.
• Build and improve MRB processes and tools to scale with production.
• Report on team throughput and non-conformance trends.
• Balance workload and ensure tight hand-offs between disposition and repair releases.
