Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Specialist to drive sales for designated customer accounts and to work with Account Representatives in delivering in-depth product knowledge through technical presentations.

You will understand customer requirements, prepare customized quotes, and help close product and solution sales while coordinating vendor resources to support the sales process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industry and sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and general industrial products helpful.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue and profitability through generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Interacts face-to-face with customers to build strong relationships and maintain satisfaction.
• Prepares customized quotes by understanding complex customer requirements.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met.
• Provides on-site troubleshooting support as needed.
• Quotes, engineers, and closes product and solution sales with local customers.
• Coordinates with vendor resources to support sales.
