Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I to handle high-volume inbound calls and third-party inquiries about existing mortgage loans in a hybrid work schedule. You will deliver accurate information in a courteous, professional manner, strive for first-call resolution, and escalate more complex issues to qualified team members as needed.

The role supports growth within mortgage servicing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service/call center experience preferred.
• Banking, Mortgage/Loan Servicing industry experience preferred.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) skillset preferred.
• Hours Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Answer least complex incoming calls from borrowers and third parties with inquiries about existing mortgage loans.
• Deliver accurate information in a courteous, professional manner and strive for first-call resolution.
• Refer more complex calls to a qualified team member.
• Perform steps to provide call resolution, including task routing and supporting department contact.
• Track and complete callbacks to ensure inquiry resolution.
• Document call details in the mortgage servicing system.
• Understand or reference Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as needed.
