Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is hiring a Customer Service Specialist I to handle a mix of inbound and outbound calls about existing mortgage loans in a hybrid schedule. You will deliver courteous, accurate information, resolve issues, and escalate complex inquiries as needed.

In this entry-level role, you will be fully bilingual English/Spanish, with a target pay of $22.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus. Additional bilingual pay may apply, and training will be provided to help you grow with our

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual English/Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service/call center experience preferred, but not required.
• Banking, Mortgage/Loan Servicing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer least complex incoming calls from borrowers and third parties about existing mortgage loans.
• Provide accurate, timely information, in a courteous and professional manner, aiming for first-call resolution and regulatory compliance.
• Refer complex calls to a qualified team member.
• Route tasks via email or phone with supporting departments to resolve inquiries.
• Track and follow up to complete callbacks.
• Collect payments when necessary and appropriate.
• Document call details in the mortgage servicing system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
