Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls related to existing mortgage loans. You will deliver accurate information, meet compliance requirements, and route complex issues to specialists, all while supporting borrowers and third parties in a hybrid work setting.

The role is entry-level within the customer service family, with a starting wage of $22.00 per hour plus monthly incentives; Spanish bilingual skills add

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Customer service/call center experience preferred, but not required.
Banking, Mortgage/Loan Servicing industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and third party inquiries about existing mortgage loans.
Provide accurate and timely information in a courteous, compliant manner.
Refer complex calls to appropriate team members.
Navigate tasks via servicer systems and route to supporting departments.
Track and follow up to ensure inquiry resolution.
Document call details in the mortgage servicing system.
Understand and comply with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act where applicable.
