Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I to handle inbound calls from borrowers and third parties about mortgage loans. This entry-level role emphasizes delivering accurate information and aiming for first-call resolution while complying with all policies and regulations.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, with pay starting at $22.00/hr plus monthly incentives and an additional $1.50/hr for Spanish bilingual capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Customer service/call center experience preferred, but not required.
• Banking, Mortgage/Loan Servicing industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer least complex incoming calls from borrowers and third parties about existing mortgage loans.
• Deliver accurate and timely information in a courteous and professional manner.
• Refer more complex calls to a qualified team member.
• Coordinate steps to provide call resolution, including tasks and follow-ups.
• Track and complete callbacks to ensure inquiry resolution.
• Document call details in the mortgage servicing system.
