Truist is seeking a Regular Mortgage Sales Manager to lead a team of Mortgage Loan Originators in the Houston area. You will drive growth by executing strategic plans, coordinating with Truist partners, and actively developing new business relationships with COIs.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of mortgage lending, and a proven track record in recruiting and retaining top talent. Compliance with federal and Truist policies is essential, with emphasis on digital client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• 5+ years mortgage industry experience or experience in the financial services field.
• Manages a team of 4+ Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending, knowledgeable in all types of mortgage loans.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to recruit and retain productive teammates.
• Registered and maintains an active Truist sponsored registration in the NMLSR per SAFE act requirements.

Responsabilités

• Achieve production goals through personal production as well as leading a sales team.
• Lead, communicate, and execute on a strategic plan for mortgage loan sales with internal and external COIs.
• Ensure adherence to Truist Lending policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Improve client service quality by adopting digital client experiences and efficient mortgage processes.
• Support partnerships between sales and operations and assist with document follow-up as needed.
• Stay informed about local real estate market conditions and mortgage product trends.
