Job summary

Truist in Fayetteville, NC seeks a direct sales manager of a Mortgage Loan Originator team. You will lead a 4+ MLO team, drive growth and profitability by executing Truist Mortgage LOB plans, while coordinating with internal partners and COIs.

Responsibilities include achieving production goals through coaching, recruiting, and developing the team, ensuring compliance with lending policies, and expanding client relationships through digital channels and post-close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• 5+ years mortgage industry experience or experience in financial services.
• Manages a team of 4+ Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending and all types of loans.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to recruit and retain productive teammates.
• Registered and maintains an active Truist sponsorship in the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production goals through personal production and leadership of a sales team.
• Drive mortgage loan sales by leading strategy and coordinating with partners/COIs.
• Ensure adherence to Truist Lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Improve client service quality and promote digital client experience in mortgage processes.
• Foster partnerships between sales and operations; assist with document follow-up as needed.
• Stay informed on local market conditions and mortgage product trends.
