Job summary

Truist Fort Worth is seeking a direct sales manager for a Mortgage Loan Originator team. The role focuses on driving growth and profitability by executing Truist Mortgage LOB strategic plans and initiatives, while leading and coaching a team of MLOs.

You will champion strategic sales activities, manage relationships with COIs, and collaborate with internal partners to optimize the mortgage lending process and client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years mortgage industry experience or related financial services.
• Manages a team of 4+ Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending across loan types.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to recruit and retain staff.
• Active NMLSR registration with a Truist sponsorship and federal SAFES act compliance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production goals through personal production and leadership of a 4+ MLO team.
• Drive mortgage loan sales by leading strategic plans and coordinating with internal partners; engage in business development with MLOs.
• Ensure adherence to Truist lending policies, government regulations, and quality control standards.
• Improve client service by adopting digital client experiences and managing mortgage processes.
• Champion partnerships between sales and operations; assist with document follow-up as needed.
• Stay informed on local real estate market trends and mortgage product developments.
