Job summary

Truist is hiring a Direkt Sales Manager for a Mortgage Loan Originator team in the United States. The role leads growth initiatives, recruits and coaches a team of Mortgage Loan Originators, and aligns with Truist Lending policies and regulatory standards to drive superior sales performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• 5+ years mortgage industry experience or experience in the financial services field.
• Manages a team of 4+ Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending, knowledgeable in all types of mortgage loans.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to recruit and retain productive, engaged teammates.
• Registered and maintains an active Truist sponsored registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing (NMLSR).
• NMLSR system registry with a unique identifier in compliance with federal SAFE Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production goals through personal production and leadership of the MLO team.
• Lead, communicate, and execute a strategic sales plan with COIs and Truist partners.
• Ensure compliance with Truist lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Improve client service quality via digital client experience and efficient mortgage processes.
• Support partnerships between sales and operations and assist with document follow-up as needed.
• Stay informed on local real estate market conditions and mortgage trends and provide actionable feedback.
