Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Sales professional to drive marketing and development plans for mortgage products within policy. You will refer clients to other bank solutions and provide sound mortgage guidance.

The role requires knowledge of mortgage products, strong communication, and ability to manage relationships with clients, attorneys, and appraisers. Travel up to 75% and regulatory compliance awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in banking and/or lending with residential property knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in common computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet/exceed production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, and investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide sound mortgage guidance based on client needs and Truist products.
• Utilize Truist’s referral process to deepen client opportunities with other bank solutions.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow-up as needed.
