Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, seeks a Loss Mitigation Specialist to provide world class customer care and educate borrowers on hardship options. This onsite role in Englewood, CO focuses on negotiation, delinquency cure, and loss mitigation decisions.

You will work in a mortgage servicing environment, with bilingual skills a plus and a strong emphasis on customer service, compliance with investor guidelines, and teamwork. Compensation $50-60k.

Qualifications

• Strong phone etiquette with exceptional customer service focus.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus and helpful in serving diverse borrowers.
• Excellent organization and time management under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate payment arrangements to cure delinquency and keep borrowers in their homes.
• Manage inbound and outbound calling queues via automated system.
• Improve knowledge base and skills to maximize customer satisfaction and experience.
• Underwrite loans for loss mitigation following FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC guidelines and investor waterfall options.
• Recommend loss mitigation actions on foreclosure alternatives within investor timeframes.
• Read and interpret title searches to rectify judgments, liens, etc.
• Maintain quality control and production standards defined by CHL.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
