Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 2 years sales experience, OR combined minimum of 4 years higher education and/or relevant work experience, including 2 years sales experience.
• Thorough knowledge of FHA/VA regulations, conventional loan requirements and real estate law.

Responsibilities

• Interviews applicants to collect and analyze income, assets, debts and credit data to assess loan eligibility.
• Obtains and analyzes pertinent financial and credit data.
• Independently assesses applicant's credit worthiness and may issue pre-qualification statements.
• Determines which products meet customer needs and advises on mortgage loan programs.
• Markets and promotes the bank's mortgage products and cultivates new mortgage business.
• Travel to meet prospective customers as needed and represent the bank in the community.
