Job summary

Truist Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Sales Specialist to promote Truist Mortgage loan products and ensure referrals to other bank services. You will work within bank policies and investor guidelines while delivering client-focused mortgage advice.

Key duties include executing marketing plans to meet production goals, maintaining policy knowledge, complying with laws, and assisting with documentation during fulfillment. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

1+ year of banking/lending experience with basic knowledge of residential property types.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Solid interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and investor guidelines.
Comply with Truist policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen opportunities.
Assist with document follow-up for client, attorney, or appraiser during fulfillment.
