Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Loan Sales professional in the Richmond area to drive marketing and development plans for mortgage products while ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines. You will provide sound mortgage advice and prospect for cross-sell opportunities across Truist services.

The role is commission-based with potential salary draw, requiring 1+ year banking experience, strong communication skills, and SAFE licensing within 30 days. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in banking or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with common computer applications
• Must become SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures and secondary market investor guidelines
• Comply with Truist policies and applicable laws
• Provide mortgage client advice based on client needs and product benefits
• Utilize referral process to deepen client relationships with bank solutions
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow-up as needed
