Job summary

Truist Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to market loan products within bank policies and refer clients to related Truist services. You will support clients with tailored mortgage solutions and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.

The role emphasizes building client relationships, executing referral processes, and coordinating with loan fulfillment to advance applications. A valid license and banking experience help you succeed in a dynamic sales environment.

Qualifications

1+ year banking or lending experience
Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Proficient with common computer applications
Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures and investor guidelines.
Comply with Truist policies and related laws and regulations.
Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
Generate referrals to offer other bank solutions and services.
Assist with document follow-up for loan fulfillment and appraisal coordination.
