Job summary

Truist seeks a Mortgage Sales professional to drive loan production and referrals for additional bank services. You will market Truist Mortgage products within policy, advise clients, and expand relationships through effective referrals.

The role requires English proficiency, 1+ year in banking, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Regular 1st shift duties include travel and strong client interaction as part of a dynamic mortgage team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in banking or lending with residential property knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days and pass background check

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, Procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Comply with Truist policies and state/federal laws.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and product benefits.
• Leverage referrals to connect clients with other bank solutions.
• Assist with document follow-up during post-closing or quality control.
