You will research loans to offer the best options and guide clients through the application, approval, and closing processes efficiently.

Qualifications

• Mortgage Loan Originator experience and verifiable sales track record preferred.
• Must hold Mortgage Banking license under DFI and NMLS.
• Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills to pursue leads, manage your loan pipeline, follow-up on missing data or documentation, ensure timelines are met and build strong working relationships with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with agents and applicants to generate repeat business.
• Attend industry events to network and generate leads.
• Host or attend events to promote mortgage products to potential clients.
• Stay informed about local real estate market trends and lending rates.
• Explain differences between approval requirements of various mortgage types and present lending packages.
• Assist clients with mortgage applications and verify documents for accuracy and thoroughness.
