Job summary

Howard Hanna Mortgage is seeking motivated Loan Originators who provide top level service to clients, colleagues and communities. You will research loans, guide clients through applications, approvals and closings, and help build loyal relationships with customers and partners.

A top candidate will have MLO experience, a valid NMLS license, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to nurture relationships and manage pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator and/or Financial Sales Specialist with a verifiable sales track record preferred.
• Have a Mortgage banking license under DFI, Department of Financial Institutions, and NMLS.
• Demonstrate communication, listening and interpersonal skills to pursue leads and manage the loan pipeline.
• Understand FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, USDA and other conventional loans.
• Be professional, approachable, empathetic, responsive and positive.

Responsibilities

• Build healthy relationships with agents and applicants to generate repeat business.
• Attend industry events to network and create leads.
• Explain mortgage requirements and prepare lending packages based on client needs.
• Assist clients with mortgage applications and verify documentation for accuracy.
