Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company in Tumwater, WA, seeks a Loan Officer to manage loan origination processing, disclosures, and liaison with borrowers, underwriters, and staff to ensure a smooth loan path.

You will educate clients on products, build referral networks, lock rates, review disclosures, and stay current with lending guidelines. A minimum of two years in mortgage lending and an NMLS license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
• NMLS License.

Responsibilities

• Consult clients to assess eligibility and understand financial goals.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms, and options.
• Answer inquiries on rates, products, and loan status.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering documents.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships to generate loan prospects.
• Coordinate marketing materials with production support teams.
• Build and maintain referral sources and client lists.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders.
• Obtain accurate 1003 and close multiple loans monthly or quarterly.
• Collect borrower documentation: paystubs, tax returns, W2s, bank statements.
