Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: At least two years of experience in mortgage lending or related field.
• Certifications/Licenses: NMLS License.
• Flexibility to meet customers outside the branch.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; highly organized and focused.
• Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness; delivers excellence in customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess financial goals and loan eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms and options with personalized recommendations.
• Answer inquiries on rates, products, and loan status to ensure service quality.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting documentation.
• Develop relationships with referral sources to generate loan prospects.
• Coordinate marketing materials and collaborate with production/support teams.
• Build referral networks and self-generate leads while maintaining client lists.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders for smooth approvals.
• Obtain accurate disclosures and AUS findings; review credit and determine loan products.
• Submit complete loan packages to processing and lock in rates; review closing disclosures.
