Job summary

Guild Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer to build and maintain client relationships, gather documentation, and coordinate with underwriters and lenders. The role focuses on advising clients on loan options, explaining disclosures, and ensuring a smooth application process.

The position requires two years of mortgage lending experience, an active NMLS license, and a willingness to meet clients outside the branch as needed. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of mortgage lending experience.
• NMLS License required.

Responsibilities

• Consult one-on-one with clients to assess financial goals and mortgage eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms and options.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting documentation.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, REALTORS, and lenders to facilitate loan approvals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and keep clients informed during the loan process.
• Develop relationships with referral sources to generate loan opportunities.
