Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company seeks a Loan Officer to manage the client relationship during the loan process, from application through underwriting to closing. You will educate borrowers on products, gather documentation, and coordinate with partners to secure timely approvals.

Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential in a fast-paced environment. The role involves meeting outside clients and maintaining referral networks in the Tacoma area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years mortgage lending experience preferred.
• NMLS License required.
• Flexibility to meet customers outside the branch.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations to understand clients' financial goals and mortgage eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms, and options with personalized recommendations.
• Answer inquiries on rates, products, and loan status to ensure excellent service.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting documentation.
• Develop/refine relationships with referral sources to generate loan prospects.
• Coordinate with production teams to create and distribute marketing materials and generate leads.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders to ensure a smooth loan process.
• Obtain accurate 1003 and close a minimum of two loans per month or six per quarter.
