Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company in Oregon is seeking a Loan Officer to manage the origination process, liaise between borrowers and underwriters, and build strong client relationships while achieving monthly loan targets.

You will educate clients on loan options, collect documentation, and coordinate with production and processing teams to deliver a smooth closing. A minimum of two years in mortgage lending and an active NMLS license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years of mortgage lending experience.
• NMLS License is required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess financial goals and mortgage eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products and options with personalized recommendations.
• Assist clients in completing applications and gathering documentation.
• Develop and maintain referral sources to generate loan prospects.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders to streamline the loan process.
• Lock in rates and ensure loan disclosures meet regulatory timelines.
