Job summary

Guild Mortgage is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to manage client consultations, assess loan options, and guide borrowers through the origination process. You will collect documentation, communicate clearly, and coordinate with underwriters and processors to facilitate timely closings.

You will build relationships with referral sources, stay updated on lending regulations, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
• NMLS License required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to assess loan eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms, and options.
• Answer inquiries on rates, products, and loan status to ensure quality service.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to generate loan prospects.
• Collaborate with production teams to generate sales using marketing resources.
• Build a referral base and manage existing client lists.
• Work with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders to facilitate approvals.
• Ensure accurate 1003 data and close at least two loans per month or six per quarter.
