Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant (Lead to Contract) in Minnesota. You will support originators by managing loan files, coordinating appointments, and maintaining client databases. The role emphasizes fast follow-ups, accuracy in pre-qualification, and effective communication with customers throughout the process.

You will assist with credit analysis, document collection, and coordinating with operations. This is a full-time on-site position in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; mortgage lending experience a plus.
• Active MLO licensing required (NMLS).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for the customer and loan officer during the loan process.
• Assist originator with appointments and lead follow-ups within 20 minutes.
• Maintain lead databases and send online pre-qualification links.
• Gather and verify documents for pre-approval, and help with 1003 forms.
• Review credit scenarios and determine suitable loan products; run credit and AUS findings.
• Prepare Initial Fee Worksheet and quote rates in line with policy.
