Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services in Madison, WI seeks an Escrow Oversight Specialist to set up escrow lines on loans, research tax/insurance issues, and disburse escrow funds on paid-in-full loans. You will follow regulatory requirements and internal policies while handling FHA/PMI/USDA items.

Requires 2–3 years of banking/finance/mortgage escrow experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, and OnBase.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing and originating systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Effective problem solving and communication.
• Strong mathematical balancing and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Research and process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Assist with setting up escrow lines on loans.
• Research and resolve property discrepancies for tax, insurance, and PMI.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid in full loans with an escrow balance.
• Provide accurate and complete information to resolve issues and follow up promptly.
• Escalate high level escrow issues to senior staff and propose solutions.
• Provide productivity summary on a weekly and month-end basis.
• Prepare complete documentation and updates to mortgagor loans in the system.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
