Job summary

Newrez LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to join our on-site team. You will receive, catalog, and ship collateral and servicing documents to third-party custodians and vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in accordance with SLAs.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in Document Administration or Mortgage Servicing, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to work independently while supporting junior teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in Document Administration or Mortgage Servicing or similar field.
• Direct Supervisor recommendation (Internal candidates only).

Responsibilities

• Ensure collateral documentation is completed within SLAs.
• Request collateral files from investor custodians within SLAs.
• Identify and cure collateral exceptions.
• Respond to vendor and investor inquiries promptly.
• Update inventory and systems with actions and follow-ups.
• Prepare reporting for management, investors, and vendors.
• Maintain MERS and inventory of documents.
