Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist I in Tempe to monitor and process accounts in foreclosure. The role emphasizes accurate review, timely referrals, and coordination with counsel to ensure compliance with investor requirements.

The position requires strong communication, time management, and attention to detail, with a preference for prior foreclosure or mortgage servicing exposure. Candidates should be capable of working under established procedures and with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer and internet skills.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and be able to work with general supervision applying established procedures and specific standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and processes accounts in the foreclosure process.
• Completes pre-foreclosure reviews and ensures referrals for foreclosure per company requirements.
• Manages deadlines for invoice approval, foreclosure referrals, breach letters and collection letters.
• Prepares reinstatement, payoff figures, and other debt information for attorneys.
• Manages pipeline of foreclosure loans to ensure timely processing and compliance with investor, insurer, and client requirements.
• Provides information to assigned foreclosure counsel.
• Prepares bidding instructions for foreclosure sales.
• Keeps daily exception reports for oversight of the pipeline.
• Follows company policies and procedures and seeks to increase revenue and reduce losses.
