Job summary

Michaels in Wilton, CT is looking for a team member to deliver friendly service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will support truck unloading, stocking, and in-store Merchandising, while engaging customers in rewards enrollment and omni-channel processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the store
• Flexibility for nights, weekends and early mornings preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery, merchandised stock and in-stock conditions
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact with customers in a positive, respectful manner and be a role model for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
