Job summary

Michaels, a leading crafts retailer, is seeking team members for the Bala Cynwyd, PA location to deliver friendly customer service and assist with store operations. The role includes helping customers, checkout, rewards enrollment, and participation in omnichannel processes while maintaining in-stock shelves and store standards.

The position requires flexible hours including nights and weekends, physical ability to stand and move throughout the store, and a focus on safety and guest

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and handle repetitive store duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC survey and participate in omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS)
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandise recovery
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
