Job summary

Michaels Stamford store is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist with in-store shopping, and ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences. You will help with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining organized shelves, while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Applicants should have retail and/or customer service experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Roles include standing for long periods and lifting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a store environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Enroll customers in the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and store programs.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes; maintain store recovery.
