Job summary

Michaels Wilton, CT is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation, including planograms and backroom processing.

Applicants must be at least sixteen years old; total base pay range for this position is shown below, and store-wide benefits like 401(k) with employer match and health coverage are offered to eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Capable of lifting heavy boxes and using ladders or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise in-stock condition and handle returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP compliance.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members; be a role model for the store.
