Morning Belle in Grand Rapids is seeking a Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating, and coordinate with the dining team to ensure smooth, fast, and friendly service. The role emphasizes a positive first impression, accurate guest information, and efficient table turns in a busy restaurant environment.

You will greet guests, determine seating, take reservations by phone, and work with servers to maintain clean dining areas and prompt service.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or retail customer service preferred.
• Greet guests positively and represent the first interaction with the restaurant.
• Determine seating capacity and accommodate any special arrangements.
• Properly seat guests by rotating between sections for fast, friendly service.
• Take reservations over the phone and document guest details clearly.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Clears and cleans tables and table areas between guests to minimize turn-times.
• Partners with host to ensure table readiness for quick turn-times.
• Ensures restrooms are clean at all times.
• Fills ice bins as needed.
• Assists dishwashers during downtime as needed.
• Continually perform other duties as assigned.
