Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a friendly Greeter to warmly welcome guests, escort them to tables, and coordinate seating with servers and management. You will ensure a smooth dining flow, confirm reservations, and support the dining room team to deliver a high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities include managing seating charts, communicating with kitchen and servers, and ensuring the entrance and menus are inviting. Prior experience in food/beverage or hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Three to six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
• Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to lift, push, carry 20-40 lbs.
• Stand continuously for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them, escort to table, pull chair out and present menus.
• Maintain an inviting entry by ensuring doors are clean and welcoming and menus are prepared.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen to ensure timely service and seating arrangements.
• Manage seating chart and organize reservations; verify private parties are staffed properly.
• Greet guests exiting the dining room and ensure a pleasant experience; address issues by informing a manager.
