• Familiar with reservations, cancellations and relocation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check guests in/out; assist with pre-registration and block reservations.
• Post charges accurately in the Front Office system.
• Maintain working knowledge of front office transactions and daily tasks.
• Handle cash, checks and credit card payments correctly.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts and how to apply them.
• Handle same-day reservations and follow cancellation/relocation procedures.
