Job summary

Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) seeks a Sustainer Program Manager to grow our monthly giving program and optimize its performance across channels. You will lead the development of strategies for donor acquisition, conversion, and retention, leveraging data-driven insights and donor research.

You will manage external agencies, work with internal stakeholders, and align mail, online, canvassing, and other channels to maximize revenue and file stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in direct response marketing or Development.
• Two years of sustainer program experience at a nonprofit or similar capacity.
• Ability to lead cross-departmental projects with vendors and consultants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and data-driven reporting.
• Knowledge of donor databases/CRM and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement annual and multi-year plans to maximize sustainer growth.
• Direct investments to acquire, convert, retain, and recapture sustaining donors.
• Align direct mail offline/online sustainer strategies with unified messaging.
• Develop multi-channel strategy for monthly giving (mail, online, canvassing).
• Oversee monthly giving program operations and donor services.
• Assist with annual revenue and expense planning and forecasting.
• Develop retention strategies to maximize sustainer retention.
• Monitor KPIs and establish incentive structures for sustainers.
• Explore new channels and payment options; identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve processes.
