Job summary

Volunteers of America Oregon is seeking an Annual Giving & Individual Gifts Manager to design and manage VOA Oregon’s annual giving program while cultivating a defined portfolio of individual donors and prospects to increase philanthropic support.

This role leads direct mail, digital appeals, social engagement, and donor stewardship, building relationships through personalized outreach, timely acknowledgment, and disciplined moves management to grow giving and strengthen long‑term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in fundraising.
• Experience managing annual giving programs and donor stewardship.
• Experience building relationships with individual donors.
• Experience using donor databases; Raiser's Edge NXT preferred.
• Develops annual giving strategy including direct mail, email, digital & social fundraising.
• Plans and evaluates multiple annual appeals throughout the year.
• Collaborates with Communications to align donor messaging with mission.
• Monitors fundraising metrics and maintains calendars and workflows.
• Maintains donor acknowledgment and stewardship practices.
• Travel up to 20% within Portland metro area.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage VOA Oregon's annual giving program.
• Cultivate a portfolio of 50–75 donors and prospects.
• Lead multi-channel campaigns including direct mail and digital appeals.
• Track activity in Raiser's Edge NXT and report results.
• Collaborate with leadership, communications, and program staff.
