United Future is seeking two daytime Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers in Connecticut to partner with Lead Unit Managers. This clinical-administrative role oversees daily care delivery, documentation, and unit workflows across two resident units, with a focus on structured, Monday–Friday daytime management.

Ideal candidates are experienced LTC RNs with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, capable of coaching staff, and ensuring accurate EMR documentation and

Competenze

• Current, active RN license in Connecticut required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility or LTC with supervisory/desk nurse experience.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented abilities to manage two active clinical units.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for care planning and orders.
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, nursing teams, and resident families.

Mansioni

• Coordinate daily unit operations, shift reports, and nursing workflows across two units.
• Review and reconcile physician orders, lab results, and pharmacy profiles for accurate clinical execution.
• Act as liaison between physicians, therapy teams, families, and floor staff to align care plans.
• Assist with resident clinical assessments, care plan updates, and discharge planning.
• Provide coaching and guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to uphold clinical standards.
• Ensure EMR documentation compliance with DPH regulations and internal QAPI benchmarks.
