Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to manage injection stretch blow mold sampling, qualification services, and validation for new and rebuilt molds. You will collaborate with plant techs and quality teams, drive process optimization, and document best practices across facilities.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background, strong communication, and the ability to lead design reviews, tool specifications, and training initiatives for both salary and hourly staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple resources.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mold samplings & qualification services on new/replaced/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits within cycle time.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection/blow molding.
• Lead DOE and process capability studies to ensure standards and specs.
• Provide manufacturing support to resolve machine/process/tooling issues.
