Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to lead injection stretch blow mold sampling and qualification for new and rebuilt molds. You will optimize processes, collaborate with plant teams, and develop standard process documentation across facilities.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background, strong problem-solving skills, and at least five years in plastics packaging. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected to support quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with internal and external customers.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of five years' processing experience in plastics packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of mold samplings and qualification services on new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits at target cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding processes.
• Attend project meetings, design reviews and tool specification discussions as required.
• Train plant personnel in technical areas related to machine processing and tool design changes.
