Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs at customer sites. You will handle tasks such as brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, and welding under supervision, with opportunities to advance.

The role requires strong safety awareness, independent scheduling, and reliable communication with the support team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with related field experience.
• Experience with trailer maintenance and repairs preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers.
• Document work on RO via company TRAIT app using iOS device.
• Diagnose electrical components and troubleshoot faults.
• Maintain parts inventory and company-issued service truck.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/DOT regulations.
