Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II to join our team. This on-site role performs certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light repairs, and related duties at customer sites, with work performed in a mobile/field environment.

The position supports growth and requires working a rotation (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday) with 100% travel to client locations. Remote work is possible if you live in the specified city/state/region.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive Maintenance and repairs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various trailers and equipment with little or no supervision.
• Document according to company standards and upload pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findings observed on Repair Orders (RO) using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on trailers including brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, liftgates, brake chambers.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Maintain and operate company-issued service vehicle; conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
