Job summary

AAA-The Auto Club Group is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside calls, perform tire changes, jump starts, and light towing. You will work on-site at the Marietta, GA location with a flexible schedule, handling equipment and customer interactions in dynamic outdoor conditions.

You will conduct DOT inspections, maintain vehicle readiness, and document activities while upholding safety and AAA service standards. Prior roadside experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license with minimal infractions.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR review, background check, and DOT physical.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• Comfort with GPS, mobile devices, tablets, and apps.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must complete AAA training programs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests using a tow truck or service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services including tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing/installation, jump starts, and lockouts.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures and guidelines.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Use tablets or devices to manage calls and update requests.
• Document daily activities, service calls, and receipts.
• Maintain DOT certification and driving record.
• Meet goals for member satisfaction, safety, and productivity.
• Support AAA events as needed.
